Early Intervention Works, LLC is an educational support agency that is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of children through disability and special needs services, play, and tutoring services. This company was created in 2017, by an educator, Karen Williams, who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children.
The founder and owner of Early Intervention Works, LLC, Karen Williams, always dreamed of becoming a teacher. However, life introduced her to the disabilities and special needs population. Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration from Morris College. Later, she earned a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from Troy University. After entering the work force as an Early Interventionist , working with children with disabilities and special needs, Karen decided that she wanted to do more for children and their families. Therefore, she went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Human Services: Marriage & Family Counseling. She worked with infants and toddlers with disabilities and special needs for 13 years. In addition to education and hands on disabilities and special needs experience, Karen has served as a Second Grade teacher in the public school system for three years.
Karen is a certified BrainPop Educator. She is also CPR certified and continues to receive training in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Letterland, curriculum development, and other educational areas. Her education philosophy is that of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Don't go where the path may lead, instead go where there is no path and leave a trail."
